"Just Tell Them...

I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

Progressives at Conference are "Fed Up" With Their Own Pick for The White House

Thanks to Tennessee Guerilla Women for keeping us apprised of the goings on at a particular Progressive Conference this week.

Apparently....

The ACLU chief is "disgusted."

Nancy Pelosi is being heckled.

And other Progressives have discovered that "Hope is Not Enough."

In fact, the "Quote of the Day" comes from Robert Borosage speaking at aforementioned conference:

"Progressives have grown ever more dissatisfied, and for good reason. Our hopes or illusions were shattered: escalation in Afghanistan, retreat on Guantanamo, no movement on worker rights or comprehensive immigration reform, dithering on 'don't ask, don't tell,' reverses on choice, delay on climate change and new energy."

Well.... wah, wah and wah ... ya damned fools. In the future you will, perhaps remember, that your lusting after golden boys with razor thin resumes HURTS US ALL!

Hey, don't worry -- I'm sure they will find some other penis-possessor on which to pin all their hopes and dweams. Michael Moore! No, Dennis Kucinich! How about Jerry Brown! Howard Dean!

They'll get all the way down to some guy in their neighborhood with an Earth First bumpersticker on the back of his Prius before they'll even think of the capable, brilliant, dedicated FEMALE HUMAN that they kicked in the stomach in 2008. And probably not even then. If the guy with the Prius isn't interested, they'll probably just dig up the corpse of Bobby Kennedy and run with that.

  2. Oh, wow. Another "Quote of the day" from TGW:

    http://guerillawomentn.blogspot.com/2010/06/hope-quote-of-day.html

"I had a lot of hope for Obama, but it's not panning out."

    Guess who said it?

    ROFLOL.

SYD, thank you for putting up that pic of the entire wall mural.

All the LieStream Media (BBC included) keep clipping it so it looks more like a 2008 Obama poster supporting him - unless you know better!

Thanks again for the good look at the true sentiments of that wall mural!

  4. The message is clear. And if other sites are clipping it make it look "pro-Obama" ... shame on them. That is how they silence us.

Did you notice, as well, the "Jindal for President" in the lower left corner? Not that I'm a fan or anything... just think it adds a sort of punctuation to the mural.
