When he referred to his grandmother as a "typical (racist) white woman" he essentially gave permission for this kind of Democrat on Democrat hatred to fester. He never took that back, you know. And he never will. Because it works for him.

The GOP must surely see what is happening. They stand to gain big if this kind of interparty war continues amongst the Dems.

They must be sharpening their forks ....

What a terrible shame for my former party.Stray Yellar Dawg?https://www.blogger.com/profile/04861846247063603370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5332274376330278254.post-26585700813302526932009-07-21T13:41:19.607-04:002009-07-21T13:41:19.607-04:00PUMA4Life,

Essentially, what has happened is that the radar has been set to pick up any (and I do mean ANY) comment that might be portrayed as racist. And then to make a HUGE deal out of it.

The technique worked so well against Hillary Clinton ... that it is being employed party wide. To run any and all of us out on a rail.

Not sure what the goal is, though. Is it just to rid the party of Clintonistas? Seems like a losing strategy if that's their game.

DE.... I don't know for sure about Alford's accusations. They seem tenuous at best. And his militancy, in light of the nature of the accusation, seemed a little over the top.

If this continies to be a pattern... Clinton, Boxer, Maloney, and whoever is next... I am going to remain very suspicious.Stray Yellar Dawg?https://www.blogger.com/profile/04861846247063603370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5332274376330278254.post-4386574939895344642009-07-21T12:29:14.689-04:002009-07-21T12:29:14.689-04:00Hey SYD,

Boxer has attacked with vehemence conservative women also. She also horribly attacked Condi Rice during her confirmation hearing, also a coservative black female Supreme Court Justice in Calif who was a DC Federal district court nominee , etc. She didnt agree with Alford so she tried to disrespect him by suggesting he must be wrong because he is not in sync with NAACP. But I dont think she is racist only anti convervatives irrespective of race although she does save a special vehemence for conservative women and conservative blacksbruce nahinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17776845323383693571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5332274376330278254.post-91154780250233229372009-07-20T22:19:33.639-04:002009-07-20T22:19:33.639-04:00Stray, did you read this one? It does seem like there is a war going on against white women.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

Maloney apologizes for using N word
Posted: 09:38 PM ET

Maloney is running for Senate.
(CNN) ā New York Rep. Carolyn Maloney, a Democrat, apologized Monday for using the N word in a recent interview while recounting a phone call she had received.

"I apologize for having repeated a word I find disgusting," Maloney said in a statement. "It's no excuse but I was so caught up in relaying the story exactly as it was told to me that, in doing so, I repeated a word that should never be repeated."

Maloney, who is challenging Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand for the 2010 Democratic Senate nomination in New York, used the full racial slur in an interview with the Web site City Hall while taking aim at Gillibrand's record.

"I got a call from someone from Puerto Rico, said [Gillibrand] went to Puerto Rico and came out for English-only [education]. And he said, 'It was like saying nār to a Puerto Rican,'" Maloney said. "I don't know-I don't know if that's true or not. I just called. I'm just throwing that out. All of her-well, what does she stand for?"

Earlier Monday, the Rev. Al Sharpton ā a supporter of Gillibrand's bid ā sharply criticized Maloney for using the word.

"The quote by Congresswoman Maloney if accurate is alarming and disturbing at best," he said in a statement. "No public official even in quoting someone else should loosely use such an offensive term and should certainly challenge someone using the term to him or her."

The controversy comes the same day Maloney is set to hold a big-ticket fundraiser that includes an appearance from former President Bill Clinton. Clinton has also attended a fundraiser for GillibrandPuma for Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01468561863746391695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5332274376330278254.post-88982598310068293032009-07-19T11:46:11.563-04:002009-07-19T11:46:11.563-04:00Mr Alford can go eat worms. If he wants to get all disgusted with the imaginary insult that Boxer was suggesting all black people think alike he might as well read this real insult...
Mr Alford, it wasn't white people who went like a lot of sheep to the polls during the dem primary to vote for the white candidate at 93 percent.
So it seems walking in goosestep is okay when he says and bad when he says.TeresaInPahttp://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/.../obama-talks-mor.htmlnoreply@blogger.com
