My response:
Indeed. NOW and the FM have fallen down on the job. They proffered a bribe, rather than negotiating a settlement. The bribe has backfired. Because now that they have given away their endorsements (and their power) they have nothing left to negotiate with.
Both organizations have thus, rendered themselves obsolete.
And I can't even figure out why? What was to be gained by endorsing an all male ticket for the first time??
Boggles the mind, doesn't it?
