Inaugural Headline and Spending Differences For 2004 And 2008: Sucker Born Every Minute

It is interesting, isn't it? How different the headlines seem to be this week, from four years ago.....



"Tsk tsk tsk- when dealing with imbesils you can do anything right in front of them so long as you say pretty words - the fools will cheer! I guess we got the government we deserve ! I wish I could go forward in time to see how history accounts for how we fell for this one! Like the worlds greatest salesman once said “there’s a sucker born every minute” I just never thought the USA was chock full of a majority of em!



Headlines 4 Years Ago:

"Republicans spending $42 million on inauguration while troops Die in unarmored Humvees”

“Bush extravagance exceeds any reason during tough economic times”

“Fat cats get their $42 million inauguration party, Ordinary Americans get the shaft”




Headlines Today:

“Historic Obama Inauguration will cost only $120 million”

“Obama Spends $120 million on inauguration; America Needs A Big Party”

“Citibank executives contribute $8 million to Obama Inauguration”"



Personally, I oppose this kind of spending for government pomp. Whether $42 million, or $120 million.... it is simply unnecessary. But, c'mon, MSM... your bias is showing yet again. And it's downright sickening.

Alas the masses are falling for it. I mean, really.... there must be a sucker born every minute.

I guess you could say we've all been FLEECED. And, Donna, you are one of the lead fleecers.
