"Just Tell Them...
I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

The Consensus Is: Kanye West is a Jackass and Even the President has Noticed (Plus: I was Born a Racist and a Sexist.)
Aaaccckkkk!
If Mr. Obama keeps telling the truth, I may have to start liking him again.
For the record... Yes, I did at one time LIKE Barack Obama. And, once upon a time I even agreed with Mr. West about his Katrina assessment.
White men still flogging that "All you white women are so racist, you better not speak up for your own rights" meme? I notice even the accused on the Time cover looks like a little girl.
Amazing. Still, it looks it got them another couple generations of unpaid household help, a whole lot of kids they won't have to take care of themselves, and last, but by no means least, that oh-so embiggening feeling that comes from having someone always around that's socially and economically dependent on average mutts like themselves.
In "real life" Dawg is a mom, a nurse, a pet rescuer and a tireless advocate for animal rights.
Dawg is happily married for thirty years and has raised three awesome children. She holds an advanced degree in Family Science, wherein her research was focused on women's support circles during parturition. Her dedication to Women's Rights is directly affected by her belief that motherhood should not be a sentence to isolation and disenfranchisement.
Dawg is on hiatus from political bloggery d/t the intense demands of her engagement in the No Kill movement at this time. However, she remains influenced by PUMA politics and reads the blogs of her fellow PUMAs (at right) regularly.

That disturbingly sexist (prejudiced, bigoted) cover was actually Newsweek - all those sexist mouthpieces run together after a while.

Yes. The little white kid on the cover of Newsweek is "racist" cuz she prefers to look at photos of "people of color." Bad girl.
ReplyDeleteBut, she is smart when she recognizes that her mommy's voice is the one she prefers.....
I guess it is good to be discriminative of sounds, but not of sights? WTF??
WTF, indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting both of these.
