"Just Tell Them...

I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

Gloria Allred Has Lost Her Feminist Cred, In An Attempt To Smear Meg Whitman

In the run up to the California Governor's election, Ms. Allred does harm to TWO women and their families, at the apparent behest of her "Liberal" party Masters.

For shame, Gloria! These are not the actions of a Feminist!

Paying in taxes and wages for a housekeeper at 23 bucks an hour is not exactly exploitive. I don't understand how anyone can look at the evidence and suggest that Whitman knowingly hired an undocumented worker.

I'm also reminded that Tancredo, Romney, and Geithner all recently hired illegals for lawn care, basement remodeling, and housekeeping and it hardly even registered in the court of public opinion. There's a huge double standard.

  2. I'm so disappointed in Allred. I can't believe what she's doing.

  3. This is beyond sad. Meg, if you need a new housekeeper I'd LOVE to have the job. Pay me $23 an hour and I'll work like a dog AND not stab you in the back when you least expect it!

  7. Dear SDTAI:

You know Pajamas fired Phyllis don't you?

Uppity Woman did this post and I put it on my blog too.

Boycott Pajamas Media–Phyllis Chesler has been removed
Posted on October 1, 2010 by Uppity Woman
I’m no fan of Pajamas media to begin with, but there was one regular contributor I read. Phyllis Chesler. As of today, Phyllis Chesler is no longer a regular columnist in Pajamas Media. She has been removed.
For those of you who are too young to remember, Phyllis was a Front Line Second Wave feminist. Many of us remember her well in her tireless fight for women’s rights that are now being slowly eroded while the third wave files their fingernails. Those of you who remember the fight for rights that others take for granted know how fragile those rights are today. Those women and girls who followed have taken their rights for granted, imagining no one could ever take them away, while they are being whittled away under their very noses.
Phyllis is the last remaining Second Wave feminist who has the guts and fortitude to speak out, not only for women but against the steady drip of Islamofascism/Sharia that is infiltrating the USA. She is never afraid to go toe to toe in her column with people such as Naomi Wolf, who thought wearing her hijab was kinda fun and sensuous during a visit to the safest place in the Middle East she could find. But that was just a regular day for Phyllis Chesler. Her honesty, ability to size up what’s really going on, and her fearless refusal to pretend and be Politically Correct doesn’t make her too popular with today’s brand of Don’t- Break -Your- Fingernails Feminist. As you can imagine, Phyllis was thoroughly rejected by her Democratic Party Feminist pals long ago. Kind of like the rest of us here at UW.

  8. By the way, years ago, Phyllis was a young bride in Afghanistan when she learned first-hand what it was like for a woman over there and hightailed out of that country as fast as she could. So when you read Phyllis’ remarks about the Middle East, they aren’t just about that cute hijab Annette Benning wore on a little “peacemaking” trip for fun and publicity. They are the Real Thing.
Today, you will find Phyllis interviewed on TV whenever an Honor Killing occurs and is swept under the rug or disguised as “Domestic Abuse” or “Cultural Misunderstandings” in the USA. She never takes her eye off those cases. She is a Psychologist who has tirelessly studied the abuses and murders of women in the Middle East and the patterns used to carry out those disgusting travesties. She knows a red flag in the USA when she sees one and isn’t afraid to point it out–and as we all know, there are plenty to point out. Loudly. That alone makes her a most valuable asset to anyone who has the brains to listen.
In the arena of publications, Phyllis is no lightweight. She has written many outstanding books, some of which I have recommended here on a number of occasions, including:
Woman’s Inhumanity to Woman, which continues to always apply, and we all know it.
The Death of Feminism, a Must Read.
Women and Madness (so guess who gets to decide when you are ‘mad,’ girlz? So don’t be too fractious, you hear?)
The New Anti-Semitism (And we all know it’s here with a vengence)
    Women of The Wall
    Letters To A Young Feminist
    Patriarchy
    With Child
Feminist Foremothers in Women’s Studies, Psychology, and Mental Health
Sacred Bond: The Legacy of Baby M
Mothers On Trial: The Battle For Children and Custody
    About Men
    Women, Money and Power
As you can see, Phyllis Chesler has been looking out for women for a long long time and she’s in it for the long haul.
I wonder how many books the rest of the dipwads at Pajamas Media have written?
Phyllis is also a strong supporter of Israel and a very important read on that subject, and that also gives her points with me as I know it does with many of you.
I have removed Pajamas Media’s link to Phyllis from my blogroll and replaced it with a direct link to her site, The Phyllis Chesler Organization, where she may continue to tell the truth. Go there now and read how “Heroism Is Our Only Alternative”. Phyllis is no stranger to punishments for not being Politically Correct, particularly given the subjects she relentlessly pursues: Women’s Rights and Islamofascism. She won’t stop. That’s who Phyllis Chesler is. How many people can you say that about?
If you fellow bloggers have her on your blogroll, please do the same. No sense of giving one more click to Pajamas Media. And if you don’t have her on your blogroll and you have one whit of concern about the future of Women in America, and what Islam has planned for you girlz, then you should be blogrolling her. I warn you that this Former Democrat doesn’t have a whole lot of respect for the Democratic Party, but as far as I’m concerned, she doesn’t have any less respect for them than I do right now.
Now I personally no longer have any reason to ever go to Pajamas Media again. Not that I had any other reason to go there. I ask that you do not post any Pajamas Media links in the comments section from this day forward. They are dead to me, and considering who they dumped, they should be dead to you too. I am mad as hell.
Please join me in boycotting Pajamas Media at all costs, and in telling them: Pajamas Media, Kiss My Ass.

  10. Hi Green.

I knew that Phyllis was gone. And have since unsubbed. She was the only one I read over there anyways. It was not a perfect fit for her.

I am now blogrolling Phyllis's own organization. And I feel a lot better about that.

Why on earth did they "fire" her?

  14. Well Pajamas is all males there as regular bloggers but that is not really why. At this time in the struggle we face a sophisticated enemy. The invisible hand buys media outlets, the web, endows university chairs and main stream media. Money controls the masses now. They purchase board seats in our non profits because the staff tells us "they are good fundraisers" and soon have the majority to hire staff and make policy and endorsements. It is Big Money; the corporations, Wall Street, the Arabs and Persians. Millionaires are usually the same in their interests whether from the left or right. The right has its front groups and non profits but so does the left and neither represent women's interests.

They try to define our politics by silencing dissent, and then defining what is politically correct and redefining racism. They flood the country with immigrants so women and unions have to fight the same battles every generation sliding and slipping one step forward , three steps back.

I find old feminists are waking up - unafraid to fight for their own interests in the face of the names we are called and our fore mothers were called -- racists by the left - Nazi by the right. UNFEMININE by mass culture. We hear their roar every time we say women will define our own reality and put our civil rights as we define them first, put women first.

I am working out a feminist foreign policy that aids women where they live instead of the phony corporate answer of immigration, as is Phyllis. Also, the next wave will identify with the economic rape of women by the legal system and the oligarchy which has replaced democracy. We will show how the system reduces those who use it to the poorhouse; how it economically disenfranchises women.

  15. THIS IS PHYLLIS CHESLER SPEAKING BELOW

"You will LOVE my eight new chapters for Mothers On Trial which will be out in 2011. The work is done. I write about how courts have enabled incest, how lawsuits have tortured—literally—as well as impoverished good mothers; how court personnel have enabled all this. Oh, you will like this book in its 25th anniversary edition."

  16. BTW< MY comments above are my own assumptions, not Phyllis Cheslers. I have no real idea why she is gone as she has not shared that. I guess she has been asked to contribute there occasionally so the parting may have been friendly for all I know.
