    Thanks for the video, it is very inspiring to see these young girls, fighting/advocating for themselves and others too against FMG. The video makes one tear up, but it inspires and leaves one with hope...

    With maternal deaths on the rise and lack of health care in the rural areas, it seems inhumane to cut girls, not to mention the fact that the tradition is based on the basis of controlling women and abusing them. The films that I have seen have literally been torture, leaving some girls infertile, leaving others with urinary infections, damaged bladders and leaving some dead.
