"Just Tell Them...
I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

Wow, that's quite a crowd for San Francisco ! People are just fed up with the whole government as it's running right now, Obama's been just a big, fat, hopeychangey letdown.
ReplyDeleteI was recently in the San Fran area. My impression is that the natives are restless. Lots of bitter clingin' Libertarians in them thar hills, surrounding the city. They tried to go along with the coup... but are losing patience.

LOL
You know Pelosi is one queer bird.
I was flabbergasted in 2005 or so when I learned of her, and her having lived for decades in San Fran - and yet she never supported the GLBT community. Not at all there is what I remember learning.
Oh, but Pelosi can use GLBT experiences to bash Obama's opponents!
Shame on Pelosi!
"FROM WIKI : Pelosi was born in Baltimore, Maryland. The youngest of six children, she was involved with politics from an early age. Her father, Thomas D'Alesandro, Jr., was a U.S. Congressman from Maryland and a Mayor of Baltimore. Her brother, Thomas D'Alesandro III, also a Democrat, was mayor of Baltimore from 1967 to 1971, when he declined to run for a second term.
ReplyDeletePelosi graduated from Institute of Notre Dame, a Catholic all-girls high school in Baltimore, and from Trinity College (now Trinity Washington University) in Washington, D.C. in 1962. "
I went to one of the "rival" High Schools of IND in Baltimore . Nancy was chauffeured to and from her school in a limo .. her little rich feet never quite touched the sidewalk where the other riff raff walked ... she never has been in touch with reality ... all she knows is bought and sold politics
