Well, now, here's a similarly obsessed reporter, whom I presume has a womb of her own. Laurie Kilmartin over at Huffpo is fretting over whether Sarah is still fertile, now that she is a granny. And she is projecting that Bristol will be a grandma when she is 33 years old.
The sky is indeed falling on Miss Chicken Little!
I am coming to believe that... it is not the womb that these left leaning "journalists" envy. Rather it is the fecundity that boggles their little minds. They simply do not understand how a woman can have babies and still function in the world. Let alone be the equals of men. The mere idea terrifies them, in fact. So much so that they develop compulsions over it. Like this one:
One of the major barriers to women's progress, in our country, is the idea that pregnancy, birth, and breast feeding must happen in a pristine vacuum. Away from the demands of the work world. Out of sight from men and even other women. Sarah Palin has done much to overturn that concept. And, though I don't necessarily think that all 18 year olds should have babies, it is certainly not the end of Bristol's life that she has one.
To the Media: Get over it already! Before you make worse fools of yourselves than you have. And, if you truly have O.C.I.D. get help! There are medications for that sort of thing.
Oh, and to Facebook: We gotcher number as well. Just give it up and admit... you've been OUTED.
These so called journalists are an embarrassment to the Democratic Party. So be it. They are embarrass themselves. They are petty. And so are the people who eat this kind of press coverage up.
