"Just Tell Them...

I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

Byah and Mikulski Withdrawing? Angry PUMA Alert

Of course, The Daily PUMA is correct in saying:

"NOBODY resigns one day before the deadline when they are leading in the polls without an ulterior motive." And in reminding us of the shenanigans that went on in the Dem primaries, surrounding the Michigan vote.

Then Post-Partisan Examiner correctly nails the "ulterior motive" in Byah's case.

Seems angry PUMAs are a force to be reckoned with. Which brings out the rancor from Obama's troops. (Wah. Wah. We tried to warn them.)

Who is next? Rumors are that Barbara Mikulski will be the sixth incumbent Dem to bow out for 2010. (You may remember her as co-chair of Clinton's 2008 campaign.)

As the PUMA avalanche continues, Obama's supermajority further and further erodes.

Where exactly will it stop?

  1. Wow! I forgot she was Hillary's co-chair!
Not missing Bayh, but Hillary won Indiana too! (as well as Massachusetts). I didn't consider that angle - interesting!

  2. Saw a post last night on this that just tickled me- Bayh goes out leaving the Dems not enough time to file papers for a candidate- just like the assholes pulled out of MI and screwed Hillary!
Gotta love it- though I doubt the WH communication team gets it-

  3. Edge,

Evan Byah was a big supporter of Hillary. He was, more than once, suggested as a possible running mate for her.

There is no coincidence whatsoever in these two withdrawals. I am not sure why they are both announcing their decisions now ... but we might at least question if there is some kind of coordination afoot. Such as a ?2012? campaign.... (and I don't mean Byah as Prez. Get my drift?)

  4. Proud Mom,

We shall hope that the WH is too dense to get what is happening. Cuz, from the looks of the tweets copied at Legal Insurrection... their fans sure are....

    Popcorn for everyone, I say!
