We have been duly warned by NPR's Juan Williams. The Obama-love is running deep and thick this weekend on ABC and CBS.

Anyone with half a brain is steering clear of the MSM B.S. Storm.

No worries, though. Cuz we don't have to go far from the glare of the kowtowing to "Get Real with Sonja." Check out PJTV. Where Sonja clears up the lies about Letterman's and Playboy's "kewl and edgy", uh, er, *misogynist* comments about Republican women.

In other, more PUMA related news... I'll defer to Gary's excellent, and up to the minute, coverage of Gay Politicos as they jump ship on the DNC fundraiser that was supposed to happen this weekend.

And a major H/T to Shtuey for his excellent rant on the situation in Iran. I, personally, have not yet taken a position on the Iran situation. But I am getting closer to understanding ... and blog posts like Shtuey's are helping me find my way through the miasma.

Scare the living daylights out of Letterman’s advertisers, get them to drop this show, and CBS will then be forced to deal with Letterman once and for all.

If you live anywhere within a 4 hour driving distance of New York City, please plan on attending this event. Bring your own signs (be creative but PG rated!). 1. CBS has received so many negative comments about Letterman they have shut down the comments section of their website.

2. A leading New York State Legislator, Brian Kolb, publicly called today for CBS to fire Letterman.

Chapters in PUMA History: Please, PUMAs, Back Up Your Work!!

It was about twenty-four hours ago when Cinie's World fell off the face of the PUMAsphere. Several of us noticed it right away, as we sipped our Sunday morning java. (Thank goodness she is back!)

I don't really know what happened. But the experience of waking up and finding a sister missing from my morning line-up was eerily reminiscent of what I experienced back in the Fall. Then, Hillary supporters were routinely being banned from "Democratic" web communities. And the burgeoning PUMA community was plagued by O-bot "flaggers" that would routinely shut us down as we awaited "review" by T.O.S. personnel at Blogger or Wordpress or wherever.

Look, my PUMA friends, the O-bots are now in planning stages for their "second term." They are targeting Sarah Palin at the moment... but it won't be long until they turn their greedy little cheeto stained fingers back toward us. We need to be prepared. Back up your work! Make sure you are publishing in more than one place. Make it difficult for them to silence you!!

For those of you who are supporting Sarah Palin (or thinking about it)... I'll extend a live invitation to join the PUMAs at Team Sarah. You can find the link in the right hand column here on Stray Dog Blog. Be forewarned: You won't like everything you see over there. Any more than you like everything you are seeing at Huffpo, Kos, or D.U. Partisanship sucks. And there are partisans everywhere. Still, there is a lot to be gained by blogging at T.S. I do it regularly and get many more responses than I get here. The PUMA network there is strong and vocal!

Team Sarah, The Confluence .... Astroturfing Thugs Play Where-ever ...

By now, many of you have read about the recent framing attempt at Team Sarah. You know, the way the Obots infiltrated the site in order to stir up sh** and make Team Sarah look bad. Thankfully, Team Sarah has been on top of that situation! Bill Collier acted quickly to inform us all not to engage the interlopers. Many of us have, since, been especially aware... in the chat room. And we've outed a few in the forum as well.

The same blogger boiz that mess with Team Sarah ... are messing with the Weblog Awards. Here is an example of what they are doing to sister PUMA site Confluence .

FACT: Operatives within the Democratic Party, with leadership by Axelrod and Dean, have developed a sophisticated system of "netroots" that "mess with" the blogosphere. They are taught how to "astroturf" as we have seen them do, time and again. They know how to rig polls, as was done with TIME's "Person of the Year." And is now being done with The Blogger Awards.

The point of my posting this is.... we need to stick together! It is not "Conservatives against Liberals anymore. It is a very small segment of the blogosphere that interferes with our important work ... to return democracy and order to our elections and governance. In the words of Bill Collier, "It is thugs against civilization."

We can all learn from each other... and, more importantly, we can defend one another from the astroturfing hi-jinx. Please visit the Weblog Awards page and boost *LEGITIMATE* blogs. Wonkette, obviously, is not one of them. As it is engaging astroturfers to falsely elevate it's numbers.
