Bwahhhhaaaahhhhhaaaaa.
Karma's a bitch ain't it, Mr. Uygur?
Having a major case of schadenfreude, today, upon reading this. Totally tickles my fancy.
I so clearly remember when TYT turned on Hillary and demanded that she get out of the primary race "for the good of the country" or some such nonsense. "Obama will have to watch his back" indeed. (Whose watching your back, Cenk? And ours??)
Hey, Mr. Obamaphile... maybe you can open for Olberjerk, over at that channel nobody gives a hoot about? Or, better yet... get a position on GeeBeeTeeVee as a foil?
UPDATE:
My, my... Cenkie-pants sucking up at CNN now:
"We'll have you back, since you're now liberated."
Is CNN drinking Starbucks this week? Instead of Kool-Ade??
"Just Tell Them...
I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

That's Crazy Talk, Right? RIGHT???
Yes, Indeedy.... He's Baaaccckkk....
To quote yttik in our previous thread...
I don't know what's more horrible, that Olbermann, who called Malkin, "a mashed up bag of meat with lipstick on it," is being called the face of progressives everywhere, or that MSNBC believes their little stunt is going to convince us that they are an objective voice in journalism.
Regardless, MSNBC needed their 12 viewers to come back, so the Voice of Misogyny has returned.
My response:
I agree, yttik. Just quoted you in the next post, in fact. I could not have said it better.
And if that "seething ball of hate" is the "face of Progressives everywhere" then I want NOTHING to do with Progressives.

Another Reason to Turn The TV Back Up, Another One for the PUMA Schadenfreude List
This is most certainly one for the infamous Schadenfreude list. After all... it was Keith-O who thought it would be a great idea for a Superdelegate to take Hillary into a dark room and beat her senseless... so that "only he comes out."
I don't really give a hot damn about why Mr. Olberjerk got canned. I simply hope that the sexist backstabber is gone for good. And I won't cry if Tweety follows him out the door. The harm that these two jokers did to our party (and our nation) by relentlessly bashing the best (female) Presidential candidate ever, while fellating the weakest, is irreparable.

Deathwatch for Keith Olbermann: PUMAsphere and Beyond
I'll come clean here. I don't often *hate* people. But I'm making an exception for the Liberal Misogynist of MSNBC. (Or at least one of them.)
And here's why.
From the linked article:
"Olbermann does not like women, especially attractive and/or accomplished women. Nor is he particularly fond of men. He is forever the awkward, angry teenager of his high school days who mystified psychologists, the überdork whose cruel taunts of the athletes he covered as a sports broadcaster were legendary, even as he yearned to be thought of as the stud that covers studs. Give it up, a Philadelphia Inquirer sports columnist suggestedafter watching Olbermann ridicule the appearance of an overweight athlete. He noted that the hefty lefty is “so bloated he looks as if he swallowed Dan Patrick [his ESPN co-anchor] back in 1997.”
And so the venom drips, and the ratings sink. Olbermann is cruel to all who, as a class, have rejected him, such as joyful people and women…or people of faith and women…or people with traditional marriages and women…and those with well-adjusted relationships and women. Did I mention women?
Women are anathema to Olbermann. He delights in demeaning them, and the more attractive or accomplished they are, the more malicious he gets. Conservative Congresswoman Michelle Bachman, who relishes her role as policymaker and mother, is a frequent object of his anger; columnist Michelle Malkin is a “big mashed up bag of meat with lipstick” because of her intelligence and traditional values; Sarah Palin is> a moronic “Bush in a skirt”; and there’s nothing wrong with Hillary Clinton — who had the nerve to oppose Barack Obama in the Democrat primaries — that a good beating won’t cure."
For me, really, the Olbermann hatred began when he called for Hillary to be beaten senseless by a Democratic Superdelegate. If I'd had an Olbermann voodoo doll here at that time, I'd have begun sticking pins in it. No matter, though.... cuz apparently somebody else did it for me.
So now the woman hater has the audacity to claim that he "never even suggested Hillary should drop out of the primaries." Uh-huh. The man thinks we do not have youtube?
Well, here's news for ya Keith-O. We *do* have youtube. And and we can also follow cable ratings. There isn't a PUMA alive that won't rejoice when you get the boot. And there are few women ... of any political stripe... that won't be dancing in the proverbial streets.
Of course, Conservative men won't be cryin'about your demise either.
So who is left to mourn your loss? A few pimply faced blogger punks in their mother's basements? Your woman hating "progeny?"
Alas, that's what happens when ya alienate 51% (or more) of your viewers during a primary season.
There's nobody left to watch you. Boohoo.
Now scram.

MSNBC Flushes Last Shred of "News" Credibility Down Toilet
MSNBC has flushed it's last shred of credibility down the toilet. As reported by The Reclusive Leftist.I really do not watch cable teevee. Ever. But, the anecdotes are certainly entertaining. Doncha think?
Don't know what I'd do without my PUMA blogger friends. Geesh.

One by One, Liberal Sources Sell Out In Deference to their Corporate Candidate: MSNBC, WAPO and DU in the "Obama Era."
There is a strange thread running through the undermedia today. It is that the overmedia on the Left continues to lose all credibility with Americans (most particularly PUMAs.) And they are hurting because of it.
Take, for instance, the continuing decline of Keith Olbermann at MSNBC. This is a commentator that many PUMAs once listened to, and admired. After he turned on us, though, we abandoned him. While Keith was once competitive with Bill O'Reilly ... now he is lucky to surpass Nancy Grace in the Neilson's. He's been in freefall, ever since he told the Clinton wing of the Democratic party to take a hike. He'd like to see their favored candidate taken into a room and killed. (Or beaten so senseless that she doesn't come back out.)
A similar epitaph can be written for Keith's colleague Rachel Maddow. Once respected and revered for her feisty and well thought out opinions, Rachel bought into the Obamania and drank the kool-ade. She didn't go as far as Olberjerk did. But, still, she has lost credibility among a huge segment of the Democratic party. Because of this, it is unlikely that she will ever come anywhere near eclipsing O'Reilly or Hannity.
That's a shame, really.
Then there is this very odd story unfolding about WAPO and how it's publisher planned to sell access to it's reporters. The plan was to hold some private "Salons," where D.C. lobbyists and Obama administration officials would pay up to $250,000 for a seat at the table. Said table was... get this... in her private residence. Weymouth is backpeddling as hard as she can about the whole ordeal. But if you do some research you will find evidence that she actually sent some of the invitations from her private e-mail account. Needless to say, the WAPO scandal has become a P.R. nightmare.
It is worth noting, as well, that the Democratic Underground (which I refuse to link here) has also gone the way of complete and total pandering. Moderator, Skinner, has apparently added an "unrecommend" feature that allows anything remotely anti-Obama to be immediately removed by the Obot army over there. Another former hang-out of free thinking Democrats has thus fallen under the censorship of pro-Obama operatives. Dissent has gone out the window. (I only know this second hand, as I refuse to EVER visit the D.U. again. Just as I refuse to ever watch Keith Olberjerk again.)
These are but four examples of formerly reliable, Left leaning, sources that have lost all credibility in the wake of the "Obama Era." And I might add, it's not all so hopeful and joyous as Ms. Solnit thought it would be.
I'm sad about that. Really, I am.
But... at least I am not surprised.

PS. I would just like to add that, as a Feminist, I take no joy in seeing the Female publisher at WAPO go down in history as one who blatantly and brazenly sold influence. Further, I do not enjoy seeing a Lesbian, Feminist commentator bringing up the rear in cable news ratings night after night. Alas, I believe this is a sad day for anyone who values a free and responsible press. Which we clearly do not have. In the "Age of Obama."
UPDATE: Another Case in Point, from the Conservative side of the aisle: David Brooks has been getting "intimate" with at least one Republican Pol. Eeewwww.

"Sarah Palin is a Bad Mother" and Other Beastie Boi Fantasies: Letterman Day Five in the PUMAsphere
The beastie boiz are at it again. Or should I stay, still? Here we see Ed Schulz and Donny Deutch at MSNBC declaring that "Sarah Palin is a bad mother." Why? Because she defended her daughter:
The PUMAsphere dares to disagree:
Tennessee Guerilla Women respond to the bogus charges.
HILLBUZZ continues to lead the charge in the Letterman boycott. And PUMA PAC adds the effort to their "daily prowl."
The New Agenda points out that Letterman's writers (you know, the ones responsible for researching and writing his jokes) have, in fact, PARADED THEIR OWN DAUGHTERS INTO THE PUBLIC EYE! TNA asks us to respect those girls anyway. Even though their fathers are dickheads.
Besides "prowling" the Letterman advertisers.... I am proud to report that I am also slowly making the rounds with small donations. To all of my favorite news sources (those listed above plus a few more.) I am giving $17 to each of them for the 17% of female elected public officials that hold high office. Anyone that is fighting to increase that number, deserves my support!
