"Just Tell Them...

I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

Dawn Your PUMA Marching Boots, You Bull Moose, You! ("Press On," Indeed.)

I'm always on the lookout for decent PUMA screeds. Like this quite excellent one, previously posted at

The Confluence.

And while Mr. Obama bids us to "Press On..."

Our actual marching orders are about to to be released from more competent quarters.

Dawn those PUMA marching boots, my friends! And "press on" indeed!!

I Miss Bill and Hillary!

Poster H/T to Bloghopenchangery. (And... NO! I do not miss Bush or Carter. Not in the least.)

Oh... and I miss Hillary even more than her DH. Because... there *are* differences between Hillary and Barack, it turns out. (And we PUMAs always knew it.)

Sigh.

Burn, Baby, Burn and Rise, Hillary, Rise (The Implosion of the Obamacrat Party and the Rise of the Phoenix.)

PUMA blogs this morning are picking up on a new hope! It's not the hopey-changey-kool-ade-bongy type of dope that the Obamacrat party shoved down our throats in 2008.

It has nothing to do with a hope based in empty rhetoric and back-sliding policies.

Because, just as Always For Hillary links to Heather Higgins:

"President Obama’s meetings at the Senate on Sunday, much like his visit to Copenhagen this week, are not indicators of inevitability; they are portents of panic. The reports coming out of the closed door, Democrats-only, meeting of internal divisions that are still irreconcilable, despite the high rhetoric of historic moment, only make the point more vividly: can you say 'desperation'?"

And Tennessee Guerilla Women bemoan the fact that it is our own Democratic party that has "Killed the Public Option."

The Confluence is on to the fact that the Clinton's have wrested a Massachusetts senatorship out of Kennedy-Obamacrat hands. Yes, Martha Coakley has triumphed over the preferred candidate of the Holy One and his minions.

Ms. Coakley took that special election by a bit of a landslide, according to The New Agenda which reported that as of 9:05 p.m., Coakley had 47% of the votes (Capuano 27%, Pugliuca 13%, Khazei 13%)

Why couldn't the Kennedy-Obamacrat party cram Capuana down the throats of the people of Massachusetts, you ask?

Well... there's this little matter of ongoing Race Baiting in the Obamacrat party. And the voter intimidation cover-up at the DOJ. Not to mention the the supreme distastefulness of Mr. Obama's minions in the press.

Somehow... the Obamacrat party has seriously misread the American people. Their little White House frat party is going up in flames.

My response?

"Burn, baby, burn. And Rise, Hillary, Rise."

Former S.O.S. Lawrence Eagleburger on The Foreign Policy Differences Between Presidents Obama and Clinton: Afghanistan

Speaks for itself:

H/T to No Quarter for the link. Interesting discussion there as well.

It really cannot be overstated, the difference between Obama's and Bill Clinton's administrations where foreign policy is concerned.

Remember When Van Jones Accused Bill Clinton of "Wagging the Dog?"

OK. I've changed my mind.

Yesterday I said I wasn't going to weigh in on the Van Jones situation.

Today I found THIS and thought it worth noting here.

``This is using dead Third World bodies to cover up his own unzipped pants,'' declared Van Jones, director of Bay Area PoliceWatch, an organization that until now has focused on alleged misconduct by law enforcement officers. Jones spoke at a demonstration at Powell and Market streets in San Francisco that drew 400 people, according to police estimates.

The theme that Clinton took military action to distract public attention from the Monica Lewinsky affair was highlighted in a protester's sign in Palo Alto that read, ``Don't let a wartime incursion be Clinton's diversion.''

Snip...

(Of course) There was scant mention in any of the demonstrations about the events that precipitated Clinton's action: the terrorist bombs that exploded at the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania on August 7 that killed 251 Africans and 12 Americans.

I'm still not going to take a stand on the Van Jones "removal." I don't see any reason to. His mere presence among Obama's Czars speaks for itself.

I will say this much, though. Take it for what it is worth... If any PUMA is standing against Jones, and behind the Obama administration on this "dismissal"... I will understand.

(Oh and, I might add, this group of "Czars" in the White House??? Not anything I recognize as coming from *my* party of 30 years.)

Former Democrat Official, Martin L. Gross, Critiques the Obama Administration: Worse than Clinton or Bush, "Leading US to Fiscal Suicide"

Link to the interview HERE.

I don't think it can be argued that Mr. Gross is "Conservative" or a "Racist hack." Yet there you have it. An honest appraisal of our financial situation by a man whose fiscal knowledge is respected (and sometimes revered) in Progressive, nay Radical, circles. Google him. See what I mean.

WAPO Pulls Sexist "Mouthpiece" Due to Outrage (Good Job, Ladies!)

TGW reports on it.

"The outrage included a letter from Women, Action and the Media (WAM) which "demanded an explanation for what it called 'the video's patently sexist -- and otherwise tasteless -- content,' which the writers said displayed 'misogyny' and 'utter contempt for women.'"

I don't have much time for this stuff today, as my own 20 year old daughter is having surgery. I'll just say a big THANKS on her behalf. For all those who were outraged (as I was) and had the time/ energy to take action.
