"Just Tell Them...

I have worked 40 years to make the Women's Suffrage platform broad enough for Atheists and Agnostics to stand upon, and now if need be I will fight the next 40 to keep it Catholic enough to permit the straightest Orthodox religionist to speak or pray and count her beads upon."

“Now look, It’s all HER fault” (via Puma P.A.C.) UPDATE: Response from McCain, Graham, Ayotte

“Now look, It’s all HER fault”

Pretty much says it all.

I am SO DONE with the Obamacrat party. '

UPDATE: John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte response.

STATEMENT BY SENATORS McCAIN, GRAHAM AND AYOTTE ON SECRETARY CLINTON’S COMMENTS THIS EVENING ON BENGHAZI ATTACK

October 15, 2012

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) today released the following statement on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s comments this evening regarding the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on September 11, 2012:

“We have just learned that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has claimed full responsibility for any failure to secure our people and our Consulate in Benghazi prior to the attack of September 11, 2012. This is a laudable gesture, especially when the White House is trying to avoid any responsibility whatsoever.

“However, we must remember that the events of September 11 were preceded by an escalating pattern of attacks this year in Benghazi, including a bomb that was thrown into our Consulate in April, another explosive device that was detonated outside of our Consulate in June, and an assassination attempt on the British Ambassador. If the President was truly not aware of this rising threat level in Benghazi, then we have lost confidence in his national security team, whose responsibility it is to keep the President informed. But if the President was aware of these earlier attacks in Benghazi prior to the events of September 11, 2012, then he bears full responsibility for any security failures that occurred. The security of Americans serving our nation everywhere in the world is ultimately the job of the Commander-in-Chief. The buck stops there.

PUMA, Lady Lynn, On The Obamacrat Party

"You know, if I were able to pick the president, it would be Hillary Clinton. I still consider myself a Clinton Democrat. But the Democratic Party has been so cowardly in standing for the things that Bill Clinton did that made the country so strong in the 1990s, that I have no time for the Democratic Party anymore. Their failure to stand up to the Chicago-dominated Democratic Party is appalling."

Yes, Lady Lynn. We know.

Burn, Baby, Burn and Rise, Hillary, Rise (The Implosion of the Obamacrat Party and the Rise of the Phoenix.)

PUMA blogs this morning are picking up on a new hope! It's not the hopey-changey-kool-ade-bongy type of dope that the Obamacrat party shoved down our throats in 2008.

It has nothing to do with a hope based in empty rhetoric and back-sliding policies.

Because, just as Always For Hillary links to Heather Higgins:

"President Obama’s meetings at the Senate on Sunday, much like his visit to Copenhagen this week, are not indicators of inevitability; they are portents of panic. The reports coming out of the closed door, Democrats-only, meeting of internal divisions that are still irreconcilable, despite the high rhetoric of historic moment, only make the point more vividly: can you say 'desperation'?"

And Tennessee Guerilla Women bemoan the fact that it is our own Democratic party that has "Killed the Public Option."

The Confluence is on to the fact that the Clinton's have wrested a Massachusetts senatorship out of Kennedy-Obamacrat hands. Yes, Martha Coakley has triumphed over the preferred candidate of the Holy One and his minions.

Ms. Coakley took that special election by a bit of a landslide, according to The New Agenda which reported that as of 9:05 p.m., Coakley had 47% of the votes (Capuano 27%, Pugliuca 13%, Khazei 13%)

Why couldn't the Kennedy-Obamacrat party cram Capuana down the throats of the people of Massachusetts, you ask?

Well... there's this little matter of ongoing Race Baiting in the Obamacrat party. And the voter intimidation cover-up at the DOJ. Not to mention the the supreme distastefulness of Mr. Obama's minions in the press.

Somehow... the Obamacrat party has seriously misread the American people. Their little White House frat party is going up in flames.

My response?

"Burn, baby, burn. And Rise, Hillary, Rise."

Planning Ahead for a Whole Foods Thanksgiving (Just Like The One in Boston)

I really find THIS STORY to be unbelievable. Since when did my Liberal comrades become so intolerant? I mean really, guys.... he's one of us!

From the link:

* Mackey lectures at Universities about the horrors of factory farming
* He says "Right now, Americans have to pretend factory farms don't exist. They turn their eyes away, because there's no alternative, there's no choice. Once there is a choice, we will allow ourselves to be outraged."
* He makes $1 a year and donates his stock portfolio to charity.
* He set up a $100,00 fund to help his employees with personal problems.
* He's a vegetarian and his company will not buy from producers that treat their animals unethically.
* He flies commercial, rents the smallest cars, and stays in the cheapest hotel rooms - not because he's cheap, but because he has no need for largesse
* He and his wife participate in yoga
* He gives over $1 million a year to animal welfare groups, education, relief work, and spiritual movements.
* Employees have full say in who they work with - a new employee must receive a 2/3 vote in order to make it past probation.
* Employees also vote on all company-wide initiatives
* There's a salary book in every store - "no secrets" management believes everyone should know how much everyone else is making
* Executive salaries are capped at 14 times the lowest workers salary - If they want more money, everyone else has to get more money first
* Non-executive employees hold 94% of company stock options
* Pay is linked to team performance - profit sharing
* At least 5% of annual profits go to local charities
* Full-timers get 100% of their health care costs paid for - under plans the employees have selected
* "They just have a lot more respect for you as a person here" says an employee

And because he had a different idea about how the United States can fix its health care situation, none of this matters? He's a caring person and many of you want to treat him like a monster. Why? Not because he opposes reform, but because he's bringing more ideas to the table.

I am personally appalled that Liberals (one of whom I used to be) would attack, and boycott, an icon of such Liberal thought and principle. For offering a dissenting opinion. What have we come to? This is not like any form of Liberalism I have known, or wish to be part of.

I consider myself priveleged to be able to shop in a Whole Foods Market this year. In previous years I had to wait til I was in Boston to dine on their free range, organic turkeys.

That said, it's gonna be a Whole Foods Thanksgiving... and Christmas round here!

I am ordering my Whole Foods Gift Cards HERE.

How about you?

Grandpa Cheney Supports His Daughter: Comes Out In Favor of Gay Marriage!

Yes it's true!! We can add to the growing chorus of GOP leaders that are calling for states to ratify gay marriage.... Former VP Dick Cheney.

""As many of you know, one of my daughters is gay and it is something we have lived with for a long time in our family," Cheney said Monday at the Gerald R. Ford Foundation journalism awards at the National Press Club.

"I think people ought to be free to enter into any kind of union they wish. Any kind of arrangement they wish," the former vice president said, according to the the Huffington Post reported.

The pro-gay marriage stance isn't new for Cheney, who during his 2004 campaign with former President George W. Bush made a nearly word-for-word declaration that all types of relationships should be acceptable.

The timing, however, makes his latest speech particularly significant -- it comes just after California's top court refused to overturn the Proposition 8 ban on gay marriage and as the GOP continues to remain split over the issue. John McCain's campaign manager Steve Schmidt and Bush recount lawyer Ted Olsen have both publicly argued in support of gay marriage...""

I guess I should now confess.... and I know it is SHOCKING .... I, Stray Yellar Dawg, have joined the Log Cabin Republicans. I'm still not a registered Republican. But, I am an Independent that is inching closer and closer to the party pf my Granddad. Because, I am starting to like what I am hearing! Couple that with the fact that I do not like what the Obamacratic party did to gays in California... by not speaking out against Prop H8.... and I think you can see where I am coming from.

To be clear: there *were* robo-calls made to California Democrats, encouraging them to vote against the proposition that killed marriage equality in their state. But... they were made by that *racist* Bill Clinton. Alas, common sense would tell us they did not do much to persuade the 95% of African American voters that turned out for Mr. Obama. 85% of those voters, Afrocity laments, voted FOR Prop H8.

She puts forth her opinion as to why, as well: "I’ve read the statistic that 85 percent of blacks voted in favor of Prop. 8 in order to defeat same-sex marriage. It occurs to me that black opposition to same-sex marriage is a safe expression of an intense and virulent anti-white racism because the majority of people who are openly lesbian or gay are white. I suspect this anti-white/anti-gay hatred — if I am correct and it exists and is widespread — is founded in Black Liberation Theology. But whatever foundation it has, homosexuals are the safe white people to hate and the minority that can safely be denied equality. No good is going to come of either of those things."

She is correct, no good can come of the way in which our political parties divide us, in order that we can't rise up. But "divide and conquer" works. And, at the end of the day.... the Democrats may find out that what they did to gay Californians worked a little too well for their liking. Cuz the Log Cabin Repubs are promising a fight. And they have the Governator behind them.
